Introduction

About Us

We offer psychological therapy and holistic wellbeing practices grounded in psychology, science and research. We bring an accessible, compassionate and community focus to our work, with humans at the heart- for adults, parents, children & families.

Body-mind-whole

“Body-based techniques such as yoga and breathing exercises alongside talking therapies can have a profound effect on psychological and physical health.”

The Tavistock Clinic

Body-based approaches can connect us to our wisdom and strengths. It has transformed the way I live, work and lead. I qualified as a yoga teacher in 2015, studying in  Europe and India, and further trainings with Teen Yoga UK and The Minded Institute (accredited by Yoga Alliance and the British Psychological Society). I specialise in therapeutic yoga and mindfulness-based approaches for adults, children and young people to promote psychological wellbeing, drawing on research and practice-based evidence and experience. I offer writing, talks and workshops. I lecture on several adult and child yoga teacher trainings. Topics include: compassion, mindfulness, trauma-informed practices, ethics and philosophy, child development, regulation  & more.

“I’m passionate about sharing holistic therapeutic approaches to wellbeing. I work intergratively drawing on a range of clinical psychology models, research and training as a yoga and mindfulness practitioner.”

Our Core Values & Beliefs

  • 1.

Psychological ideas should be accessible to all.

  • 2.

Sustaining ourselves is vital to supporting others.

  • 3.

We all deserve to live with dignity, care and love. Social and climate justice is anchored in our ethos and practice.

  • 4.

Working collaboratively with you (individual, parents, professionals, organisations) is key to meaningful and sustainable change.

  • 5.

We bring our expertise to work as partners towards your goals, dreams and preferred future.

  • 6.

We are all humans; messy, imperfect, flawed, we help you cultivate conscious awareness of your wholeness and different parts, with compassion.

  • 7.

We don't exist in vacuums - we see humans within the wider context, systems and structures that understandably shape their experiences.

  • 8.

We respect and acknowledge the stories and wisdom held in our bodies, the natural world, in our communities and collectively.

  • 9.

We believe no one approach fits all. We have lots of specialist expertise in our field and diverse offers (and will signpost when it is outside of our remit).

  • 10.

We see humans as suffering distress, not problems to be fixed. We work in a strengths-based way, not deficit.
